Reminder – Table Quiz
The quiz will be held in Na Fianna Clubhouse, Mobhi Road tonight Thursday 26th May at 7.30pm.
Reminder – School Closure
Please note the school will be closed next Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Monday and Tuesday (Wednesday to Tuesday inclusive 1st – 7th June).
New Language Curriculum Training
Staff training is on Wednesday the 1st of June. On this day, staff will attend the school, but children won’t.
Santry Sports/Basketball
This week children from 3rd-6th class represented the school in the Cumann na mBunscoil school athletics competition in Merton Stadium in Santry. We had two fantastic days where children competed in field and track events. The children were brilliant and we were very proud of all of them.
On Monday we had 3 medal winners: John (5th) – gold in U12 600m, Cáit (6th) – silver in U14 600m and Alan (ALC) – silver in 80m sprint.
On Wednesday two of our relay teams – the U10 boys and U11 girls came out of the heats and made it to the final. Both teams ran extremely well and narrowly missed getting a medal. The children were super ambassadors of our school. Thank you to all the parents who came to support us and cheer the children on. (Jill)
The next girls’ basketball match is arranged for Monday 30th May at 1.30pm in Adamstown ET. Pick-up at the school will be at 3pm.
Sports Day will be on Friday 10th June.
Art Day

Photography
School Portraits will be taken this Monday, 30th May. Individual portraits will be taken of Junior Infants and Sixth Class, with group portraits taken of all the classes. Portraits will be available to view on a secure online gallery, and prints can then be ordered directly from the photographer.
Full details of how to view and order will follow next week. If you would like your child to have their school portrait taken, please sign and return the permission slip below by Monday morning. (Mitch)
