Dear Parents and Guardians/A Thuismitheoirí agus a Chaomhnóirí,

Our Wellbeing Focus this month was affirmations. Affirmations teach us positive self-talk, to speak to ourselves with kindness. Please find some resources here if you would like to practise these at home!

Here is a little clip of a daily affirmation that children have been enjoying in Lisa’s Senior Infants.

St. Vincent de Paul Food Appeal

It is that time of year again when we like to support those who are not as fortunate as we are by collecting food hampers for St Vincent de Paul.  Please drop any donations to the school (see examples below) between now and Thursday, next week, 7th December.  St. Vincent de Paul will collect the hampers on Thursday morning.

Kindness Campaign Géill Slí (Give Way) – Let’s extend kindness to our immediate neighbours.

For the next week we urge everyone to be mindful of others in and around the school, at drop off and collection times.  Whether travelling on foot, by car, please give way to others and use the set down area as required.

Unfortunately, I have received yet another email from another neighbour. This time the concern is about safety as well as respect for others in a public space at infant collection time.  If gathered outside the school either waiting for children or after they have been collected, please be mindful of ensuring safety for all and be aware of other people using the pathways.

And More!
Children have been enjoying Olympic Movement – Active Break Every Day Challenge. Please find some photos of Lisa’s Class doing the boxing challenge, led by Katie Taylor (interactively) below.
