Dear Parents and Guardians/A Thuismitheoirí agus a Chaomhnóirí,

Autumn Fair

On behalf of all of us, students, staff, Board, thank you so much to Claire, Claire, Carol and Anna, the Fantastic Four, who worked their magic in creating another wonderful community event for all.  A huge amount of time and thought was needed for this success.  Thank you to all the 2nd class parents who played a vital role too, and to the wider parent body for your kindness and generosity on the day.  The funds raised will be used for our ongoing mission of making best use of our outdoor spaces including providing a range of possibilities for play.

Unity

Realtín’s 2nd class treated us to a wonderful assembly in celebration of our work over the month of October on Unity.  Every single child fully participated and shone.

 One Day Together

Tomorrow we will celebrate One Day Together in support of Educate Together.  Staff in the National Office work tirelessly supporting existing Educate Together schools and working towards providing more Educate Together schools to give more families this option.   We appreciate all donations which will go directly to Educate Together National Office.  Students are invited to dress up and bring in €2.  Further donations can be made directly here (read more from Educate Together).

Final Reminder: Siblings Admissions for September 2026

Applications for September 2026 is open on the school website under the Enrolment Page and will close tomorrow, Friday 24th October 2025.  An application must be made for a child whose sibling will be in the school in September 2026.  Sibling applications will not be accepted after the closing date.  You can read the Admissions Policy (click here to access).

Donations?

If anyone has a comfy child’s chairs like this one from ikea (photo), bean bags or yoga balls that they no longer want at home and would like to donate to the school please? Sorcha

And More!

Gaeilgeoirí na míosa

We made some Bairín breac on Wednesday, no ring or money was found

Wednesday used our junk art with paint and washing up liquid to create bubbles for our witches’ cauldrons. Dee

The two 5th classes enjoyed a very interesting event in the Botanic Gardens learning about some of the wonders of plants and their importance.  Thanks to Jorge’s dad for an informative and fascinating trip.
