Dear Parents and Guardians/A Thuismitheoirí agus a Chaomhnóirí,
Home-based Summer Provision
This summer our school is running the ‘Summer Programme’ for children with a diagnosis of ASD and other complex needs. Unfortunately, there is no more availability on the programme, so if your child is eligible for home-based tuition over the summer and you are interested in applying (click here to access the application form), please let the school know by Monday 9th June at the latest. Once we know, we will complete an application for each individual and you will receive a confirmation email with the next steps.
Reminder to Art Day is on 13th June – click here to Volunteer
Thanks to all the parents who are busy organising and preparing for Art Day 2025!
And More!
The hurling team have progressed to the semi-finals following a hard fought win against an impressive Holy Trinity side from Donaghmede. They unfortunately went into the game with their goal scorer extraordinaire Oscar ruled out through injury causing some concern for the management team but Seán from 6th class stood up and scored one of the goals of the season which helped them draw ahead of their rivals in the second half. There were some fantastic displays of resilience across the team yesterday. When the pressure was on, they held their nerve and dug deep to earn a one-point win. Ruben and Seán were amongst the most measurably excellent of a slew of big individual performances, but arguably none was more consequential than that of Harvey who put on a performance second only to Cú Chulainn, appearing unstoppable everywhere he appeared across the pitch at vital times in the game. Cumann an mBunscol Athletics Competition
After qualifying through the in-school try-outs a few weeks ago, our athletics team enjoyed a sunny day out in Morton Stadium, Santry today. There were some amazing performances and we came home with a few medals! Patrick won the gold medal in shot putt, Alex won the bronze medal in the 80m sprint, Ethan won the bronze medal in the 600m event and Sean won the gold medal in the high jump. Well done to all our athletes who represented the school so well! Jill & David
Great fun this week in Dee’s Snr Infants using the bee bots to navigate around our maps. Ben delivered tomato plants for everyone in the class that he grew over the last few weeks, he even wrote out instructions for us to keep them alive and get tomatoes at the end of the summer. We finished off our history lesson looking at our family photos.
Daniel’s JI having great fun during maths stations
A sum of money was found today on the field area of the school. Please contact the school office if you lost money today.
