PTA Quiz
Please come out and support the PTA Quiz tonight at Na Fianna at 8pm. It will be great fun with fantastic prizes to be won. Thank you to the many parents who have put a huge amount of work into ensuring it will be a great success.
Art Day (see below also)
Thanks to Louise and Geraldine for organising the movement of further tables and chairs from the old school site, which will be very useful on Art Day and other future events.
Hurling
We are thrilled with our hurling team for getting us through to the final at Croke Park, and look forward to a big day out supporting them and celebrating, next Tuesday!
Chess
Congratulations to both our teams: Fiach, Jack and Sanjit (5th) and Oscar (2nd) achieved 1st place and Colm, Conor, Rory and Dylan (4th) who came 2nd. Both are now through to the final of the Dublin Novices League!
Well done also to Lucy from 1st class who beat one of the 6th class pupils from Synge Street!! Go Lucy!
Trips
1st and 2nd had a great day at Fort Lucan on Wednesday, luckily the rain held off. 5th and 6th are off to Zip It tomorrow!
New families to the school
We are looking forward to meeting the parents of the 2017 Junior Infants and ASD children next Monday evening.

The following children were awarded Random Act of Kindness Awards this week: Monika Áine Junior Infants, Ryan Éibhlin’s Junior Infants, Tensaye Senior Infants, Sarah and Luke 1st, Eimear 3rd, Anna 4th, Jack 5th, Dan and Conor 6th.
RARA
The following children were awarded Random Act of Respect Awards this week: Éibhlin’s Junior Infants class, Lucy 1st, Art and Noor 2nd, Emily 3rd, Layla 4th, Lilas 5th, Luke, Leah and Lilith 6th.
