Safety and Courtesy

Thank you to those who are using the parent set-down facility as it is designed to be used. We are working on a document to clarify safe use of school grounds, but in the meantime I would like to clarify one important point. The only parking availability for parents is for those who have children in the Assisted Learning Class (ALC), unless you have a disabled parking permit.

The bus inspector overseeing transport for children in ALCs, visited recently. When he indicated that the parking facility was for the ALC Class, he was alarmed by the response received by those already occupying it.

GETNS Soccer

Girls and boys soccer teams will compete in the FAI Schools Dublin Qualifiers next Wednesday and Thursday.

Swimming

1^st and 2^nd classes will commence their swimming lessons in Ballymun Leisure Centre from next Thursday 30^th March until 29^th June 2017.

Reminder: Bake Sale tomorrow Friday 24^th March in aid of Daffodil Day. Bring in €1-3 to donate. Well done Guilia, Tess and Molly.

Thanks to Aoife for organising St Mary’s Secondary School children who will be teaching our 6^th class children about planting on Tuesday.
