Parents Talk tonight at 7:30pm in the school hall: Help Parents Support Their Children’s Mental Health & Wellbeing. Thank you to Neal and the PTA for organising this. It would be great to see as many of you as possible there.

What happened this week
Seachtain na Gaeilge
Bhí craic agus cómhra againn i rith an seachtain. Bhí Aoife agus Vincent ag seinm ceol sa halla inniu. Bhí sé ar fheabhas agus bhí na páistí ag eisteacht go maith. Go raibh mile maith do Vicky, Aoife, Danielle, David, Annaick agus Claire, the “Itty Bitty Irish Committee”

Leinster Rugby Blitz
6th Class will take part in a Leinster Rugby Metro DCC Tag Blitz Bonanza along with 12 other school this Friday

Girls & Boys Soccer Teams
Both teams played their first league match this week and they got off to a great start winning both matches.

Campaign for Climate Change: School Protest March on Friday 15th March at 12pm
The plan for tomorrow is:
11:30am: Leave the school premises and march once around the school
11:40am: Leave the school grounds and cross Griffith Ave Extn
11:45am: Meet up with some students from St. Michael’s House on Ballymun Road and continue on up the Ballymun Road to the pedestrian lights just before Circle K Garage
11:50am: A Garda will be on hand to help us cross the Ballymun Road where we will meet up with St. Columbus GNS and Scoil Mobhi. Enter Albert College Park at the Hampstead Ave entrance and turn left to walk up the path in the park.
12:00pm: We will have a photographer there to take a group picture. We will then leave the park at the next exit to the park (half way up Ballymun Road) back onto the Ballymun Road
12:20pm: Arrive back to the school.
All the children can wear green and were making banners in school today.

Upcoming Events
• Dublin bus are coming on Friday 15th March at 11am for the ALC students. Roger the bus conductor is bringing us to St. Anne’s park in Raheny.
• Reminder the school will be closed on Monday 18th March
• 21st March Odd Socks Day to raise awareness for World Down Syndrome Day

Reminder:
• As always children and parents from Glasnevin ET are welcome to come in through the pedestrian gate at 8:35am at the earliest and parents are responsible for their children at this time.
