Second class have been learning all about Africa in Geography this month.
We learned about Uganda from Maeve and Aoife who visited gorillas, went on safari and taught in schools there.
On Thursday this week, Eliza’s Mum, Rosie very kindly visited second class to talk about her time at an animal sanctuary in Namibia. She looked after leopards, lions, mongoose and many more animals who had been orphaned and were being looked after in the animal sanctuary.
She also showed them photos of her on safari in Kenya and meeting the Maasai tribe.
The children (and teachers!) were absolutely enthralled! Thank you so much for such a wonderful talk!
