We’ve had a wonderful few weeks at school. I’m so delighted about how well the children have all settled in and how hard they’re working! Here is some of the learning and activities that took place:
We continued learning about more/less in maths and we had fun comparing objects based on their length.
Each group of children ordered themselves by their height. They also worked together ar their tables to order a group of items from longest to shortest.
The boys & girls used their imaginations to create some fantastic construction models including towers, castles, houses, schools, hospitals and their very own world!
The children were very proud of their junk art creations too! Some of which included houses, ice cream & party hats and beaches!
We loved being active; doing PE; going on our daily runs and practising our GAA skills with Mark from Na Fianna!
Enjoying our morning activities:
Drawing body parts during our Gaeilge lesson:
Our wonderful self portraits!
Looking forward to another great week! 🙂
