GETNS AUTUMN FAIR –
SUNDAY 22nd OCTOBER, 12-3pm
Hi everyone,
It’s that time of year again, the run up to our biggest fundraiser and great day out, the Autumn Fair! And this year, thanks to our beautiful new school, it’s going to be bigger and better than ever before.
As always, the success of the Autumn Fair depends on you. We already have a core committee and many volunteers but we need more parents and past pupils to get involved. Whether you can help with organisation beforehand, spare an hour or two on the day or put up posters in your local shop, please let us know asap – whatever help you can give is much appreciated. We also need donations of books, toys and bric-a-brac. To get involved, email Lisa at [email protected] or Tina at [email protected].
The best and easiest way to stay in touch is via our Facebook page. Please ‘Like’ us to get regular updates on the fair and other school activities:

Raffle
We need your help to source raffle prizes (big and small, preferably big!!). Please drop what you have into Karen’s office or contact Emma (086 8338236) or Alan (086 3858792) with any information regarding prizes. Please try to use all contacts you can as this is the biggest fundraiser in the Autumn Fair.
The online raffle tickets were a huge success last year and will be available again this year via the school’s PayPal account. Every donation of €10 buys a book of 6 raffle tickets. This is a quick and easy way to support the school, especially if you can’t make it on the day. You can buy your raffle tickets here: http://tinyurl.com/getnsfair
Matched funding
Does your employer do matched funding? This is where a company will match fundraising up to a certain amount. If you work for a big company, please ask your HR department if they have a matched funding policy.
