National Primary School Survey

We are delighted to let you know that the Department of Education and Youth (DEY) has just launched the national Primary School Survey. This long-awaited survey is a unique opportunity for parents to have their say in the type of education they want for their children.

Please click here to access the Survey for Parents

Anyone who is the parent of a child who is in primary school, or will be in the coming years, is eligible to have their say and we encourage them to complete the survey, please share this link with others.

Thank you for supporting fair and inclusive education for all families. Educate Together schools around Ireland are an amazing example of inclusive, child-centred education, and we want all families to have this choice. Please bear in mind that all families have been as lucky as you have in obtaining their first choice of patronage.

More information about Educate Together, reconfiguration and how we will engage with schools after the survey can be found here.

Parent Teacher Meetings

The Parent Teacher meetings will take place the week beginning 17th November.  You can now book you meeting via the Aladdin Connect school app under Parent Teacher meetings.  The meetings are in person.  However, if you are unable to attend in person your teacher can facilitate a meeting online.  Please add a Note stating ‘In Person’ or ‘Online’ meeting.  If you require assistance to book a meeting, please call the office 018572086 or email [email protected].

And More!

On Wednesday, both 5th classes had a visit from Dublin City Council Historian Dervilla, to give them an interesting talk on local History.  We had been working on our Local History projects, so it was great to listen to a talk from an expert and share our knowledge!  Sylvia & Aoife
