Dear Parents/Guardians,
Bí Cineálta
Thanks for the response to last weeks’ notice. We now have a parents focused group to work on Bí Cineálta.
We’ve had a lot of fun this week:-
• Thanks to Gavin’s 1st class who led us in a beautiful assembly on kindness. As Oliver said, “kindness costs nothing and means everything.”
• Thanks to Sylvia’s 5th class who led Senior assembly sharing a collaborative poem on kindness.
• Senior Infants shared their talents in a songful Winter recital (see video below).
• 2nd class put on a performance with acting, singing, music, dancing for parents and grandparents and invited grandparents to their classroom for games. (see video below).
Thank you to PTA
Huge thanks to all members of the PTA whose hard work has paid off in enabling us to invest in the following this term.
As part of our focus on UDL we are experimenting with yard changes which the children are loving. We’ve bought 2 benches and once assembled (thanks Mick) we will use half of the bike shed to create the option of a calm space during yard time.
As part of our ongoing development of enhancing engagement with gaeilge we have purchased some additional readers once stamped and ready (thanks Aoife x 2) will be introduced into middle classes.
Woolbeing
The woolbeing gang are having great craic and chats while creating works of woolly art.
