Dear Parents and Guardians/A Thuismitheoirí agus a Chaomhnóirí,
Value of the month is Honesty. I believe this is at the root of Restorative Practice when we are honest about what has happened we can work through and resolve all differences.
Confirmation
Congratulations to the children who made their Confirmation last week. Our thanks to them also for visiting the classes today to share their information on their Confirmation and answer questions.
Sunscreen – as the weather improves, please ensure your child has sunscreen applied before coming to school. Please see advice from HSE below.
And more!
These are some photos of our Art work 🎨 in ALC Green. We have been having great fun printing with vegetables and pom poms! Can We made lots of flower paintings and used bright colours to celebrate Spring. The children enjoyed some finger painting too! 🌈
Yesterday the two 2nd classes went to Griffith Park to sketch flowers and complete our spring checklist. It was a beautiful spring day and it was lovely to spend time in nature 🌸🌺🌷💐
Last week both 4th classes went to the Ark to see “The Haircut”. They really enjoyed this play that was packed full of humour, drama and music. They also enjoyed making some beautiful tissue paper flowers that many gave their mums for Mother’s Day.
The 11 aside Football team won today, 1-0 against Mother Divine Grace. This is the last of the group games, we will have to await all the results to see if we go further.
