Dear Parents and Guardians/A Thuismitheoirí agus a Chaomhnóirí,

Grandparents Day in 2nd Class

The children in Jill and David’s class invited their grandparents in to watch a performance, play games, read books and show off their amazing projects.  What struck me most was how mannerly and grateful the grandparents were, a lovely lesson in itself for our future bright sparks.  It was a special occasion and enjoyed by everyone.

6th Class Christmas cards for Residents of Nursing Homes

The 6th Class pupils began December and preparing for Christmas by designing and creating Christmas cards for residents of nursing homes all around Dublin. Once they were finished their creations the cards were posted off in the hopes that it will help to bring some Christmas cheer to an elderly person who might not be able to be at home or with family this Christmas time. Together they created 25 beautiful cards and wrote some lovely, meaningful messages that are sure to put a smile on the recipients faces.

To 4th class we had lovely reports as to how they were living our ET ethos on the swimming trip today, picking up litter and showing exemplary behaviour, we are so proud of you and hope you are proud of yourselves too.
