Dear Parents and Guardians / A Thuismitheoirí agus a Chaomhnóirí,

We were delighted to host a visit today of two Principals due to open new Educate Together schools in Bristol this September, along with Deirdre Donoghue from Educate Together. They were very impressed by the Learn Together work of the children in the school and how articulate they are.

All classes will participate in the Food Dudes Health Eating programme which is organised by Bord Bia and funded by the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine and the EU School Fruit Scheme.  The programme is comprised of positive role models, repeated tastings and rewards, and increases children’s consumption of fruit and vegetables in the long term. There will be 16 days of prepared fruit and vegetables tastings, delivered in individual portion packs with stickers and rewards for every child.
