Dear Parents and Guardians / A Thuismitheoirí agus a Chaomhnóirí,

Our fabulously colourful and bright School Calendar will be available from the

office from next Wednesday.

The final figure raised for Multiple Sclerosis was €2,056.50.  Congratulations to all involved.

Having contributed to the Syrian Refugee collection, participated in the Read-a-thon for MS and fundraised for Educate Together this term, there will be no further charity fund raising through the school, coming up to Christmas. Instead, the school Staff have chosen Thoughtfulness as the value to focus on for December. We    encourage the children to consider Random Acts of Kindness outside of the school e.g. make a nice card for an elderly neighbour.

PTA Fundraising

Following the Board of Management Annual Meeting and discussion at the AGM of the Parent Teacher Association, a decision was made not to proceed with ‘Who wants to be a Thousandaire’ as a fundraiser for the school at this time. However, a big thanks to all those who offered their support and advice so far……watch this space!

Swimming

5th and 6th will begin swimming lessons on Thursday 10th December and will finish on 10th March 2016.

5th Class visited the Natural History Museum yesterday and although Oscar felt sorry for the animals, they were all very impressed with the guided tour.

GAA KITS – As the GAA matches are now over, please return complete kits to the office asap. Thank you.

Frása na Seachtaine:  “An féidir liom cabhrú leat?” – Can I help you?
