Dear Parents and Guardians/A Thuismitheoirí agus a Chaomhnóirí,

Clonturk 2nd Level Educate Together
I thoroughly enjoyed visiting Clonturk College along with our 6th class pupils who will attend then in September. It was a pleasure to meet Wesley Stanley, the new Principal, who took the time to bring us on a tour led by two pupils, one of our own past pupils. This is an exciting time for 6th Class as they have many new opportunities ahead of them.

Peace Tree for the Planet
On Monday we had the Peace Run group return and the 6th class children each got to hold the Peace Torch and contribute to planting the Peace Tree and make their private wishes for peace. It is a beautiful Mountain Ash in the bed before the set-down area.

Soccer
The boys’ soccer team won their semi-final match yesterday, 4 goals to 3 goals. It was a super performance. Final here we come! We are very proud of you all.

Congratulations
Noor won a Duets and Trios singing competition along with her sister in the Sutton Park school competition on Friday.

Martin will be here again in the morning from 9am to work with any parents who are free to give a hand clearing weeds and spreading more mulch.
